 Why hello there! [p]

Brown hooves clopped against the dirt, brown dust flying from where they hit as Etoile trotted towards the meadow. She was still new to this wonderful land, and already liked it, even though this was her first ever stop. She snorted as something emerged from the shrub, covered in fluffy brown fur. She lowered her head as a squirrel approached her, sniffing her muzzle as she smiled at the adorable creature. Letting out a dainty whinny, she snickered as the squirrel ran off.

Lifting her head, her ears swiveled this way and that as her curiosity grew. She walked into the forest of oak trees, light gleaming off of her shiny brown splotches as she walked through patches of sunlight, her large neck scar being especially visible. The large pink strip served as a wary memory, reminding her not to ness with large horses, like Clydesdales. She had received it from a battle with a large female of the breed, who’s eyes were as red as blood. She shivered at the memory, despite the warm sunlight that she had returned to. Laying down, she sniffed the flowers that both surrounded and hid her, her large eyes closed with inner peace.

A large, messily colored sharp walked through the meadows quietly, the glossy black hooves making next to no sound. A multi-colored tail swished slightly in the soft breeze, and dull brown-and-blue eyes stared ahead of the finely shaped brown and white face. His auds perked as the stud heard the neigh of a mare, and he looked around for her. Seeing an oddly colored blotch among the flowers, he walked over and looked at her.

"Do you mind if I join you?" His voice was soft and cold, pouring out slowly, like molasses. His coat was mainly white, though splotched with dark reds and blacks. His moonstruck left eye was mesmerizing, it seemed that if he looked at you all your secrets should spill out onto the earth.

With a silent gulp, she allowed herself a mischievous smirk. Go ahead, join away! Her voice was just as mischievous as she was, but held a glimmer of something else. Was that a flirtatious tone? As in she were replying to the question, her eye let out a flirty glow, her tail flicking as she tried to drag him into her spell. She enjoyed toying with males, making them think they could get a Mare as beautiful as she was. She chuckled inwardly as she recalled all of the encounters she had had with males who thought they could win her over.

Snapping back to reality, she looked up at the male, absorbing his looks. I've seen better. She thought, the glint in her eyes switching from flirtatious to mischievous and back again. She scooted over a bit, swishing her tail on the space to her left. He looked like a though nut to crack, which would make it all the more satisfying once she was done with him. She’d seen many a stallion like this one; tough, macho, solitary, etc, but this had been nothing but an illusion. They had faked a locked heart, and un-interested eye, but they had been proven wrong by the one that could never be won. Or so she thought.

"Thank you." He replied, rolling his eyes when she wasn't looking. He new she thought he was like all the other studs, tough and macho on the outside, weak and unconfident on the inside. He was like this, in a way. All stallions were, it was hard-wired into their brain. But Monty was different, and she would find that out soon.

He laid down next to her, eyeing the flowers and swishing off a fly. Her scar caught his eye, and he swivvled his ears toward her before his head. "If you don't mind, may I ask how you got that scar?" He asked quietly, his moonstruck eye focused on the strip of pink as he remembered his own past experiences.

She gave him a smirk and looked at her scar. Oh, this old thing? I got it while battling a huge mare. I think she was German or something. She chuckled at her joke, knowing that German women tended to be large and muscular. Looking back at him, she looked at him more thoroughly. She focused mainly on his face, which was what interested her most. It was... different. It sent a chill down her spine, his expression creepy just to think about. She was glad that she wasn't a Stallion, for she probably wouldn't be able to beat him in battle, not with that face of his. She shook her head and twitched her ears, trying to make it look like there had been an extremely annoying fly. She looked intently at him, trying to hide the fear that his features stabbed into her heart, while she waited for him to reply.
